As Your District 17 Representative I Will:

Vote to Fully Fund Idaho Public Schools and Universities.

Our investments in public education are an investment in the future of Idaho. By funding school infrastructure, we ensure that every child has a safe space to learn and grow. By funding teacher salaries and continuing education, we encourage high-quality educators to teach and stay in Idaho schools. By funding Career and Technical Education, we provide a path to success. By fully funding public education, we fulfill our constitutional duty to Idaho’s people and give our kids the opportunity to thrive.

Advocate for increased mental health services in our schools and communities.

Mental health and access to care have become top concerns across Idaho. But as awareness of the importance of mental health has increased, our access to mental health services has not. I will prioritize policies that improve access to these crucial services.

Defend the rights of libraries and librarians across Idaho.

As a former librarian of 15 years, I know it is crucial that we protect our libraries, our librarians, and our fundamental right to free speech. Libraries are a cornerstone of our community - providing a gathering place, access to knowledge and important resources.

Prioritize better support for children in Idaho’s foster care system.

I have served for many years as a Guardian ad Litem, and I have witnessed firsthand the inner workings of Idaho’s foster care system. We can and must do better by Idaho’s children.

Support reproductive freedom and privacy for all Idahoans.

I will always advocate for access to comprehensive medical care, free from needless government interference. Idahoans deserve privacy and dignity when consulting their doctors about their most sensitive health decisions.

Fight for access to high-quality affordable child care.

As a mom to three, I am acutely aware of the need for high-quality and affordable child care. As it stands, we have a shortage of care providers, and the care that is available is out of reach for many.
